Care & Use

Using your Clementi oven is simple, whether it’s wood, gas, or dual fuel. Set it up outside on a stable surface. For wood-fired use, light with kiln-dried hardwood and a natural firelighter—ready in 15–20 minutes. For gas, connect and ignite as instructed. Once hot, pizzas cook in just 60–90 seconds. Dust your peel with semolina and turn the pizza as it cooks.

After use, let the oven cool fully. Brush out ash if using wood, and wipe the exterior if needed. Keep it covered when not in use. Avoid treated wood, and never pour water inside.

Always read the instruction manual for full setup, care, and safety guidance.

Fully Portable

A key highlight of the Crosti is its adaptability and portability. Weighing a mere 11kg and equipped with three foldable legs. Clementi designed this oven for those who relish the idea of enjoying fast, fresh pizza. The convenience of portability adds an extra layer of practicality, transforming any space into a potential pizza haven. Even though the Crosti is portable it is still large enough to cook a 12″ pizza in roughly 4 minutes!

Indoor & Outdoor Use

Designed for indoor and outdoor use, the Crosti seamlessly blends style and functionality. Its aesthetic appeal transforms it into not just a culinary device but a statement piece and looks fantastic placed on a balcony or kitchen counter. The commitment to excellence is underlined by its Italian origin, a testament to Clementi‘s 40-year heritage. Who recognized the need for a fully electric oven catering to those without outdoor space.

Stone Based Pizza

In crafting the Crosti electric pizza oven, Clementi’s dedication to quality extends to the choice of materials, especially the “firestone” cooking base. At 1.3 cm thickness, this base is engineered to absorb and evenly distribute heat. Whilst efficiently managing the moisture inherent in pizza dough. The result is a culinary masterpiece – home-made, stone-baked pizzas with a perfect balance of crispiness and flavour.

FAQ

Can I use my Clementi oven for more than just pizza?

Absolutely. While it’s built for pizza perfection, your Igneus oven is incredibly versatile. You can roast vegetables, bake fresh bread, sear steaks, cook fish, or even make desserts—all with that signature stone-baked flavour. Once it’s hot, it’s your outdoor oven for almost anything.

What fuel type is best for me?

If you love the ritual—building the fire, managing the heat, and that unmistakable wood-fired flavour—go with wood. It’s more involved, but the experience and taste are worth it.

If you want quick, clean, and consistent cooking with minimal setup, gas is the better choice. It heats fast, stays steady, and is great for midweek pizzas or casual use.

Dual fuel is for those who want both: the ease of gas when needed, and the option to switch to wood when you want the full flame-cooked experience.

How long does it take to cook a pizza?

Whether you're using wood, gas, or a dual fuel setup, once the oven reaches full temperature (around 400–500°C), pizzas cook in just 60 to 90 seconds. The intense heat ensures a crisp base, bubbly crust, and that classic stone-baked flavour—no matter the fuel type.
